I get the idea that many people wanna do more Longsword HEMA tournaments. That is why I said: Yes, lets organize a small professional longsword tournament for open and ladies as soon as possible, in my own village.

This tournament of only one day is not meant as a big international event. The target group will be Benelux/Germany, but if you want to travel from further you are welcome!

This tournament will have:
Two tournament fields
4 poules of 8 (32 open longsword)
~~1 poule of 8 (8 Ladies longsword)~~ Ladies longsword is cancelled.
Everybody goes to the eliminations
Semi finales will have three rounds as the finals (brons/gold)
Results will be send to HEMAratings
There will be filmed and photographed.
Chosen volunteers will get their travel cost back as well as a provided lunch.

Clean exchange only:

Ruleset is similar to the NHK (Dutch Championship) ruleset except for:
- You only can score points with a clean exchange.
- You have two tempo’s to score a point
  - Hitting twice without getting hit
  - Hitting and repost the incoming afterblow
  - Hitting and retreating
  - Anything else the referee finds valid in the rules of a true clean exchange.
